She has recently been selected to represent the KZN JNR lifesaving team for interprovincial in Cape Town in August.Over and above that she completed the Robben Island Swim in April. This is a 7.5km swim from Robben Island to mainland Cape Town. The sea temp was 11 degrees. She completed the swim in 2hours 12mins.The reason why I am sharing this swim is she did not only do this swim for herself. She teamed up with Two Ocean Aquarium Foundation to help raise funds for the rehabilitation of turtles.
