Vote for us in the Cast Away podcast awards! Then listen to the boys get scared witless by thunderstorms while they discuss the Chappell-Hadlee series, the selection process, the Sheffield Shield, The Doug without a rug,  Electric silly mid-wickets and backyard cricket, Alex's Shane Watson conspiracy, and Luke giving a shout out to his string quartet. Check out Luke, Alex, and Tim's Australian team selections on our Sporting Woods facebook page at facebook.com/sportingwoods!

Luke's away on his first honeymoon so we've called up another lefty, Tim, to help Alex wrap up the Pakistan series, pick a top 11 for the india tour, and talk about the ODI's and the Big Bash.

Also on this episode you can find out the results of the Luke Gold's Bachelor Party Twenty20 - including Producer Michael's first proper 2020 game.

Also if you've read this deep into the episode blurb, please consider voting for us in the Cast Away awards - we're in third place at the moment for the Popular vote and we'd really like to stick it to the two podcasts ahead of us. All in good sport, though..!

Thanks for downloading Sporting Woods! This episode Luke and Alex are talking about the South Africa series, Australia killing it against New Zealand in the one day international, Gossip Girl, and what they are expecting of the upcoming Pakistan test.

Michael has a special gift for the boys (assuming iTunes doesn't tag it as an infringement), while Luke and Alex feel vindicated after their cricket theories start to come true with Australia's recent poor showing against South Africa, they talk specifics about the game and the general state of the sport.
