Week 5 of the NFL season featured a highly anticipated Sunday Night Football matchup featuring the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers. We all thought it would be at least somewhat competitive but we were wrong. The 49ers demolished the Cowboys and reminded the league that they are the team to beat in 2023.
Does Dallas's offense or defense deserve the most blame?

Ryan's Buffalo Bills were coming off a big win over the Dolphins and immediately fell flat on their face against the Jacksonville Jaguars. We discuss the Bills and if the Jaguars finally found an offensive rhythm.

We also discuss the Ravens being upset by the Steelers, Jonathan Taylor's return, and whether Robert Kraft should have the New England Patriots tanking for Caleb Williams.

The Dallas Cowboys travel to California to battle Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers. Will Dak Prescott rise to the occasion and prove he's able to vanquish the Niners or will it be the same old story of defeat? We previe the Sunday Night matchup and Tristan tells you why this game is a must win for the Cowboys.

A quarter of the way through the NFL season, we hand out superlatives. What has surprised us the most in 2023 and what teams are one crucial trade deadline acquisition away from a Super Bowl run?

We'll discuss the Cincinnati Bengals and Zac Taylor's decision to start Joe Burrow. This could be a decision that backfires on the organization and wastes the year they were expected to bring home a championship.

Week 4 of the NFL season was full of surprises. The Miami Dolphins brought their high flying offense to Buffalo and swiftly ran into the Bills defense which was able to get after Tua and throw off Miami's offensive rhythm. Josh Allen is playing MVP football and has the Bills as one of the best teams in the league. Are they the team to be reckoned with in the AFC?

Tristan's Kansas City Chiefs squeezed out a victory in Met Life against a resilliant New York Jets team. Despite two interceptions, Patrick Mahomes put on the cape and led his team to victory. Does this game worry Chiefs fans or should they feel confident going forward?

C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans easily handled the Pittsburgh Steelers. Are they contenders for the AFC South crown? Ryan and Tristan discuss the NFL darlings and more, including Lamar Jackson's statement win against the Browns, Bryce Young's early struggles, and why the Bengals season might be circling the drain.

Week 3 of the NFL season delivered tons of unexpected drama. The Miami Dolphins stunned the Denver Broncos by scoring 70 points, delivering an offensive performance we haven't seen since the 1960's. Is this win an indictment on Denver or a confirmation of Miami's talent?

Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars were left in the dust as AFC South rivals, the Houston Texans, came to Florida to deliver a knockout blow. C.J. Stroud is the best rookie quarterback in the league and the future looks bright for Houston, but should Doug Pederson start sounding the alarms?

In the upset of the weekend, the Arizona Cardinals defeated the Dallas Cowboys and it was never really close. Is this Dallas defense the dominant force we thought they were or did we all underestimate Arizona?

Tristan and Ryan discuss all of these heated topics and more, including the Vikings falling to 0-3, the Bills conquering the Commanders, and Taylor Swift delivering some Kansas City energy.

The Pittsburgh Steelers inched out a win over the Cleveland Browns in the game where they lost their star running back Nick Chubb to a gruesome knee injury. Despite the victory, optimism can't be high in Pittsburgh. "Fire Canada" chants rang from the stadium which makes us wonder...when is the last time this Steelers offense was good? Shouldn't that duty ultimately fall on Mike Tomlin? Tristan and Ryan discuss!

It's clear to anyone with eyes that Deshaun Watson is not the superstar quarterback we saw when he was with the Houston Texans. While this should come as no surprise, you can't help but feel bad for Browns fans who once again fall victim to the mistakes of their organization. Is there any hope for the talented AFC North roster or for former coach of the year Kevin Stefanski?

We'll also discuss what undefeated NFL teams might be fooling the public with their polished record and what winless teams should feel good about their organization...all things considered.
Finally, we debate which NFC South team we believe in more: Tampa Bay and the Baker Mayfield renaissance or the Atlanta Falcons and the Arthur Smith mustache magic.
Our NFL weekly picks are at the end of the show! We're tied going into week 3!

Week 2 of the NFL season was wild and entertaining and your two favorite idiots are here to break it all down.
The Baltimore Ravens defeat the Bengals thanks to an impressive performance from Lamar Jackson. Is he back in MVP form and should Joe Burrow or Bengals fans start feeling concerned about the team?

Patrick Mahomes had a solid performance against the Jaguars for his birthday but the real story is the Kansas City defense and their ability to keep the team in games. Chris Jones returned to help the magic. Ryan and Tristan discuss when it's time for the KC offense to hit the panic button.

Tristan was high on the Seattle Seahawks this year and they delivered in an overtime victory vs the Lions, led by an impressive outing from Geno Smith. Are they on the path to the playoffs?

We discuss all of this and more before playing Touchdown or Turnover.

NFL football fans were ecstatic on Monday night as the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen strolled into Met Life to take on the New York Jets, led by their new star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers was committing to this young team and the entire city of New York had bought into the promise of this Hall of Fame QB. Sadly, it was over before it started. The world watched in stunned silence as Aaron Rodgers suffered a torn achilles injury 4 snaps into his Jets career. We will discuss all the possible repercussions for that injury and whether we expect to ever see Rodgers hit the field again.

That Monday Night game also featured a career low performance from Josh Allen, turning the ball over 4 times en-route to an 0-1 start to the 2023 season. Turnovers have plagued Allen his entire career but can he course correct? Ryan is a devout Bills fan so he will give his thoughts while trying to remain objective while Tristan does his best to act professional.

We'll also discuss Mac Jones and New England's surprising performance in their season opening loss to Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles. There's no moral victories in the NFL, but the Patriots have to feel good as they prepare to face Miami.
Matt Stafford returned with a bang, torching the Seahawks defense and setting the Rams off to a fast start. What does this mean for these two NFC West contenders?

Finally, we will give our Week 2 NFL picks as Tristan tries to close the gap to Ryan and get that coveted steak dinner at the end of the year.

Week 1 of the 2023 NFL Season did not disappoint and your two favorite idiots are here to discuss the rollercoaster that is football season.

Have the Green Bay Packers actually hit the quarterback hat trick? It sure looks like it after Jordan Love dismantled the Chicago Bears. While Justin Fields seemed improved, the offense was lackluster and underwhelming. We'll dig into it!

Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers had their hands full with Mr. Glass, aka Tua Tagovailoa as he put up over 400 yards in his 2023 opener. Brandon Staley is supposed to be a defensive wizard, right? It doesn't look like it. Kellen Moore had the Chargers playing well offensively but the defensive lapses are unforgivable. Despite Tua's incredible outing, is it really sustainable?

Tristan has to eat his words after picking the Steelers to defeat the 49ers. It turns out Brock Purdy is fine and the 49ers are in playoff form early while the Steelers didn't bother showing up. He also gives some honest opinions on Kansas City's disappointing opener against Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions.

To close the show out, we will give our highlights of week 1. One of us discusses Baker Mayfield and if he has his mojo back and both of us bow at the feet of the Dallas Cowboys defense.
