We now have our Conference finals set up and we go in depth over the 76ers issues moving forward, the chances the Clips and Suns have to advance and what we consider the barometer of responsibility of coaches in the NBA. We certainly look forward to the rest of the NBA playoffs if this is the kind of drama we can expect. More please.
The Suns are the first team in the Conference Finals! We discuss the aftermath of the series between Phoenix and Denver, as well as the future of the other series still yet to go final. Also, headphone warning for the awards of the week. You have been warned.
On the Sports Corner we discuss all the different results and aftermaths from the first round of the NBA playoffs. Which teams are moving in the right direction and which ones are at the risk of getting left behind. We also take a look at what the second round matchups we are looking into as the big draws.
We return after a week off, and discuss the current situations in the NBA playoff field. We look at the Grizzlies and Jazz guard matchups, the current state of the future East matchups and if the series out west that are tied 2-2 will go to the higher or lower seeds. Enjoy this weeks show, and a very special rant during our Suck Cuz They Suck awards for the week.
The play-in tournament (and all the confusion it provides) is coming up as is the playoffs as a whole. We go over some of our most anticipated matchups, end of the year award winners, and some small OTA updates around the NFL. Enjoy this week's show folks!
This week's show, we discuss the current status of the Bills GM saying vaccinated players being given special treatment in the final cutting sessions of training camp. Plus we go over the possible paths that the number 2 and 3 picks have on their current NFL teams. After we get into the Albert Pujols situation, we end up with our discussion related to who we think gets in the NBA play-in tournament! Enjoy!
This week we do a recap of the NFL draft and who we think are the winners and losers of the festivities over the weekend. We also look at the latest development with the Suns atop the West as well as a few other key topics related to seeding for the NBA. Enjoy this week and as the title says, we do not apologize to Marvin Loses...I mean Marvin Lewis.
Today's episode is a smaller in capacity, but large in scope. Myself and Lorenzo go in depth with a full run down of the entire first round of the NFL draft and discuss the sleepers, steals, and outright absurdity of some of our picks. While there is some agreements in some spots, there are just as many confusing if not outright ludicrous picks by the both of us. Tune in to see what we think your favorite and most hated teams are going to be picking up in this years draft!
To say the least, the NBA has an injury problem going on right now. We discuss which teams are in the most trouble with their injury issues, the retirement of LaMarcus Aldridge and what his legacy will be as he now awaits the possibility of the Hall of Fame. Then we give a quick preview of the NBA draft, yes the NBA version, as next week will be big NFL draft special. Finally we discuss where the Browns are with the signing of former #1 overall pick in Clowney and if Stephon Gilmore is worth the trade risk.
Sean Miller's firing makes a very bizarre question rise in its wake: why did it take so long? Then we discuss the NCAA final, the current state of the NBA playoffs, and we sadly have to finally discuss the Deshaun Watson situation as it finally has reached a head. It was also very late for us. Let us know which of us sounded the most tired during the call, because I'm probably at least a 2 seed in that conversation. Enjoy!
