Alina Müller scored the game winning goal for Boston in the first ever “Double Overtime” of this best 5 series and despite great goaltending in this series from both Boston and Minnesota it all comes down to this.

Boston took Game 1 of this best of five series in Boston with (BOS 4-3 MIN) win on Sunday, May, 19th, 2024.

Minnesota picked up a (MIN 3-0 BOS) win over Boston in Game 2 on Tuesday, May, 21st, 2024 in shutout fashion and then series went to Minnesota where Minnesota would pick up a huge win over Boston at home in Game 3 on Friday, May, 24th, 2024 getting Minnesota one step closer to becoming the first team in PWHL history to hoist the “Walter Cup Championship” title.

Boston went into Game 4 Sunday night (Sunday, May, 26th, 2024) needing a win on the road to force a Game 5 back in Boston on Wednesday night and they did so in a big way forcing Minnesota into double overtime and eventually getting the win after a goal from Minnesota was overturned and deemed no goal.

Shortly after it was Alina Müller who scored the game’s only goal in Game 4 on Sunday, May, 26th, 2024 and Boston was able to force a Game 5.

The Walter Cup is in the building and both teams are playing in a Game 5 that will determine the ultimate question we’ve all been waiting for the answer to and that question is..

Who will be the first team in the history of the PWHL to be crowned the first ever PWHL Walter Cup champions?

Will it be Boston (The Overtime heroes) or will it be Minnesota (The Comeback Kids)?
