Here we go ladies and gentleman it's the final game of the inaugural PWHL season and we've got a good one for you.

Toronto takes on Ottawa for the final time this season looking for a win in this series against Ottawa after losing 3 of the last 4 meetings and picking up a win against Ottawa back in early March.

They come into this game coming off a (TOR 4-1 MIN) win over Minnesota on Wednesday night (Wednesday, May, 1st, 2024).

Ottawa is coming into this game still battling just like Minnesota and Boston for a playoff spot and coming off a (NY 4-3 OTT) on Tuesday night in Newark New Jersey.

This game is a big one for Ottawa because if they win they can clinch a spot in the inaugural PWHL Playoffs but the question is..

Can they pull it off and eliminate either Boston or Minnesota from contention?

The Blue Jays took on the Dodgers and old friend Teoscar Hernandez on the weekend and were able to take 1 out of 3 against the Dodgers and lost the series against the Dodgers.

The Blue Jays then got set to face the Royals of Kansas City this week looking for a big week.

Coming into the weekend series against the Dodgers the Blue Jays sat at record of 13 and 13 and the Dodgers came into the weekend series against the Blue Jays with a record of 16 and 11.

The dodgers won the series in Toronto by taking 2 out of 3 and they headed into their next series against the Diamondbacks at a record of 18 and 12.

The Blue Jays came out of the weekend series against the Dodgers with a record going into their final series against the Royals this season of 14 and 15.

Meanwhile the Royals have come to Toronto sitting at a record of 17 and 12.

Toronto is in the PWHL playoffs but New York is not in the PWHL Playoffs this season.

But that doesn't mean that New York doesn't have a to play against Toronto and Toronto doesn't have to play against New York because they have just a few games left.

Toronto is back at it after coming off a (TOR 3-2 MTL) Overtime victory over Montréal last Saturday in Montréal.

New York is also back at it after (MTL 5-2 NY) loss to Montréal on Wednesday in Montréal.

Toronto lost the opener of this season series back in January but they have won the last 3 meetings in this season series against New York and will be looking for to win the series with 3 wins and 1 lost in this season series.

New York on the other hand would love to get another win in this series after losing the last 3 meetings to Toronto and not to mention the fact that they won the opener of this season series in shutout fashion (NY 4-0 TOR) and that was also the first game that kick started this historic league (PWHL PUCK DROP) beginning (Start date: Monday, January, 1st, 2024).

It’s time for the final meetings of the inaugural season and first ever season of the PWHL and these two teams have played in their respective home stadiums for the inaugural season, they’ve played at the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs in Toronto and they even played in Pittsburgh inside the home of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Now they are about to play an afternoon game at the home of the Montréal Canadiens from inside the Bell Centre.

Toronto has won all four games against Montréal and is looking a chance to clinch a spot in the inaugural PWHL playoffs that begin next month but they will have to keep an eye on what is happening elsewhere in the league as both sides as well as Minnesota and Ottawa can punch their ticket to the inaugural PWHL playoffs by the end of this weeks games.
