The Penguins did not get the help that they needed on Tuesday night, but they come into a game against the New York Islanders coming off a huge victory over the Nashville Predators in Pittsburgh on Monday night by beating the Predators (PIT 4-2 NSH)

The New York Islanders come in to this final regular season game at home against the Pittsburgh Penguins having already clinched a playoff spot and with Pittsburgh out of the playoffs after the results of Tuesday night’s action they are still looking to even the series against the Penguins to end their regular season on a high note.

They come into this game against the Pittsburgh Penguins coming off a (NYI 4-1 NJD) victory over the New Jersey Devils on Monday night and also clinched their spot in the playoffs that night as well.

Both of these teams have played hard this season and with the playoffs starting this weekend it’s time for one last game on the ice to close out the 2023/2024 NHL Regular Season on a high note.

The Pittsburgh Penguins continue to fight for a playoff spot as they play in their final home game of the 2023/2024 NHL regular season and they are coming into this game coming off a disappointing (BOS 6-4 PIT) loss to the Boston Bruins and now they face the Nashville Predators for the final time this season and the first time since the Predators beat the Penguins in Nashville by a final score in Overtime of (NSH 3-2 PIT) back in late November and you can bet they will be hungry to get win against the Predators at home inside of PPG Paints Arena.

The race for the playoffs is heating up and once again the Pittsburgh Penguins are in the playoffs after a wild finish in Pittsburgh on Thursday night against the Detroit Red Wings. The Penguins came out on top of the Red Wings and moved back into the 2nd wildcard spot in the Eastern Conference’s wildcard race with a huge (PIT 6-5 DET) overtime victory over the Red Wings in Pittsburgh to kick off their final home stand of the season with a bang.

Now they will turn their attention to the Boston Bruins who they are tied with in another season series that they will be playing to win.

The Boston Bruins are returning to Pittsburgh after getting even in the season series on home ice back in early March by a score of (BOS 5-1 PIT) and they come into this game following a (CAR 4-1 PIT) loss to Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night in Boston.

The playoffs spots are filling up quickly and with only a few more games left in the season for it is very crucial for the Penguins to pick up another big win.

It's Music night on Penguins Post-game when Sidney Crosby and Gino visit the Nashville Predators in Nashville.

Rickard Rakell scored his 200th career goal in his NHL career and then Drew O'Connor forced Overtime in Toronto and the Penguins would eventually end up on the losing end of a (TOR 3-2 PIT) Maple Leafs overtime victory over the Penguins but on the bright side the Penguins were able to grab a point and now they head back home to face the Detroit Red Wings in their final home stand of the season and still looking in on a shot at the Eastern conference 2nd wildcard spot.

The Detroit Red Wings come into Pittsburgh looking to keep the Penguins out of the playoffs and win the season series but the Penguins have defeated the Red Wings in the last meeting to even the season series up at (DET 1-1 PIT) with a huge (PIT 6-3 DET) back in mid March just a few days after the NHL Trade Deadline.

They'll do so coming off a matchup at home against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night.
