🎶It’s the most wonderful time of the year🎶 Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins are returning to Pittsburgh for a home and home series against their hometown Pennsylvania State rivals in the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh is coming off a 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night in Tampa Florida where the unthinkable happened in goal in the final seconds of the 3rd period. The Philadelphia Flyers have played 23 games in their 82 games season this year and now it’s time for these two teams to do battle in a home and home series against the Penguins beginning Saturday night in Pittsburgh. The Flyers have only 59 games left in their season and after these two games against the Penguins they will only have 57 games left in the season to play in this 82 game season. Meanwhile the Penguins have 22 games played in their 82 games season going into these next two games and after these two games against the Flyers they will only have 58 games left in the season to play in this 82 games season. Penguins fans, Flyers fans we’ve been waiting all season long for this season to kick start the Battle of Pennsylvania and I’m proud to say that the wait is over. It’s time for the Battle of Pennsylvania and it’s the Penguins versus the Flyers and it’s coming up NEXT! Buckle up fans for an incredible season series between these two teams.

Last time we had Ryan Talbot on the show for a Buffalo Bills chat. We talked about quarterback Josh Allen, head coach Sean McDermott going into the season and more specifically how Sean McDermott was going to be the head coach of the Bills and the defensive coordinator for the Bills this season. I'm back in the studio break it all down for you and with the way this season has gone so far it seems to me like we could be in for a great episode this week.

December 02, 2023 Penguins Post Game (Pens VS Bolts) Game 22 of 82 “Tristan Jarry scores a Goalie Goal.”
Tristan Jarry and the Pittsburgh Penguins came into Tampa Bay for a showdown with the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night and following a 3-2 overtime loss to the Nashville Predators in the music city on Tuesday night and they ended up leaving Tampa Bay with a win in a historic 4-2 victory over the Lightning following many milestones on the night and the most rarest goal that you will ever see in the history of the NHL and for the first time in franchise history. I’m back in the studio to break it all for you and let me just say that I was definitely and I still am (star struck) by what we witnessed in Tampa Bay on Thursday night. This one is a must listen!

Well it’s the final show of the year in 2023 for the combined podcast Weekly In Sports but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the show.. No it just means that it’s the final show of the year for 2023 and it’s jam packed with tons of PWHL content, We will have our weekly shoutouts of the week and we will also dive into the possibility of Shohei Ohtani becoming a member of the Toronto Blue Jays in 2024 and I’ll provide you with some of my final thoughts or rather my top 3 games I am going to be looking forward to watching when the puck drops for the inaugural PWHL season on “New Years Day” (Monday, January, 1st, 2024.) Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills could be on the verge of missing the playoffs this season and the only question that people keep asking is... "Has the Bills championship window closed? Are they done?" Okay it's a two part question but that's besides the point.
I'm back in the studio for another Buffalo Bills Post Game show and the final show before the bye week to break down the Bills valiant effort in a 37-34 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
With five games left in the season the only question that I have for you BillsMafia is.. Is it time to hit the Panic button on the Bills season?

November 28, 2023 Penguins Post Game (Back-to-back) Game 20 of 82 (Pens VS Leafs)
Once again.. "It's a hockey night in Pittsburgh!" and on Saturday the Pittsburgh Penguins and Sidney Crosby welcome into town the Toronto Maple Leafs for the first of 3 meetings between these two teams and the only meeting this season that will go down inside of PPG Paints Arena. The Penguins come into this game having played 19 games so far this season and they only have 63 games left to play this season. The Toronto Maple Leafs enter game number 19 of their season having played only 18 games this season and they only have 64 games left to play this season. So with both teams coming off a back-to-back there is really only one question to be answered in due time and that question is. Who will come out on top in this game?
Toronto last played Pittsburgh on November, 26th, 2022 and won that game by a final score of 4-1.

November 28, 2023 Penguins Post Game (Back-to-back) Game 19 of 82 (Penguins VS Sabres)
Last time these two teams met, the Buffalo Sabres came out of Pittsburgh on the losing end of a 4-0 shutout victory for the Penguins and the funny thing is that was only game 13 of their season so despite the record and what it shows right now, who’s gonna come out on top in this game?
The Buffalo Sabres coming into this game ready to host the Penguins after falling in DC on Wednesday 4 to 3 in overtime to the Washington Capitals in DC.
Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Penguins come into this matchup also on the losing end of a 1-0 loss to the New York Rangers on Wednesday as well. Well the Pittsburgh Penguins hit a back to back for the second straight time in November and this time.
Their first opponent is the Sabres before they welcome into Pittsburgh, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and so it’s game 19 of 82 for the pens, however, for the Sabres it’s only game 20 of 82 and it’s the second time these two teams will meet in the 2023, 2024 NHL season this year with still a few matchups to go the big question as mentioned earlier is who’s going to come out on top in this game?
It’s back to playing hockey at least until Christmas and of course the All-Star break which is coming up but man these games are going to matter down the stretch so with that being said, there’s only one thing left to say.
It’s the Penguins versus the Sabres coming up NEXT!

In his return to the lineup in the back half of a back-to-back Alex Nedeljkovic shuts the door on the defending Stanley cup champion Vegas Golden Knights in Pittsburgh’s 3-0 shutout win over the Golden Knights on Sunday night in Pittsburgh. Speaking of which he also just two days prior to his return to the lineup became the first AHL player at the goalie position to score two goals in his AHL career in the history of the AHL with his second career AHL goal in a game against the Providence Bruins on Friday. The New York Rangers have now played 16 games in this 82 games season and that means that on the day before Thanksgiving in America they will have played their 17 game in the regular season when they face the Penguins in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night. The Pittsburgh Penguins have played 17 games in the regular season of this 82 game season and they have entered their 18th game of the regular season at home. The Penguins after this game on the day before (American Thanksgiving) the Penguins will have played 18 games in this 82 game season and have only 64 games left in the season to play. Meanwhile the New York Rangers will have played 17 games in this 82 game season heading into (American Thanksgiving) after this game against the Penguins goes final they will only have 65 games left to play in this regular season. Oh Penguins fans and Rangers fans we’ve been waiting all season for this game and it’s finally here.
