She takes us through her upbringing and falling in love with sports and describes her values as one of the women in sports, of which she mentions INTEGRITY as one of her important values. Chauke also tells us what it takes to be a successful senior national athlete and her motivation to venture into coaching.

Let us talk about all things women in sports! We chat with the Founder & Chairperson of Futballing Girls NPO, Moonira Ramathula.

She takes us through how she got involved in the sports industry and the lessons she has learned so far as a woman in sport which she mentions believing in yourself, transparency is essential and empowering yourself. Ramathula also discloses that the primary mandate of Futballing Girls is to create platforms for women in sports continuously.

In 2019, we saw the introduction of the Gauteng All-Star Games and she currently serves as the Tournament Director. To date, she is the Chair of the Gauteng Women’s Rugby Institute.
