In the final game of the NFL season on January 6, 2002, with Michael Strahan coming free, Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre slid down and Strahan fell on top of Favre for an easy sack. After the play, during the ensuing celebration, many of the Giants' defensive players patted Favre on the helmet. At least one observer accused Favre of deliberately falling to ensure that Strahan would get the all time sack record. Did Brett Favre deliberately give Michael Strahan the sack record? In Game 1 of the 2008 NBA Finals, Paul Pierce was taken into the tunnel in a wheelchair after it appeared that Pierce had suffered a serious knee injury after tripping over teammate Kendrick Perkins. Less than 2 minutes of gametime later, Paul Pierce came back to the game wearing a knee wrap and was back on the court. In 2019 during a 2019 NBA Finals edition of NBA Countdown, Pierce said that he just really had to go the bathroom. Collusion in baseball is formally defined in the Major League Baseball Collective Bargaining Agreement, which states "Players shall not act in concert with other Players and Clubs shall not act in concert with other Clubs."
