In this very special episode we introduce Donnie Baseball. Donnie will be a frequent Sports Theory guest. He is a walking baseball encyclopedia, having grown up in Brooklyn in the golden age of New York City baseball, when the Dodgers, Giants and Yankees all called the Big Apple home. Donnie, a Dodger fan in those days, also played baseball at a very high level, and knows the game inside and out. We love talking baseball on the Sports Theory Podcast, and hope you enjoy this episode. We discuss, among other things, some of the problems with modern baseball and how to fix them, Gil Hodges' case for HOF induction, and how today's players stack up against the all time greats. Plus a brand new segment.
