This episode is the first of a series of Sports Theory episodes where the guys take a look back at Tom Brady's career as a New England Patriot. In this episode, we cover the years 2000 through 2004, and the beginnings of one of the greatest dynasties in the history of the NFL, if not all of North American professional sports. We talk about the events that shaped the future of the New England Patriots, turning them from an NFL also-ran to the model of how to run a sports franchise. Plus lightning round and the usual shenanigans from PJ and EMac.

PJ and EMac provide an overview of the Sports Theory Podcast and how they see themselves as "sports detectives." They plan to provide strong, unbiased opinions on sports events past, present and future, and will question the behaviors, motives and outcomes of everything and everyone, considering any and all theories in their tireless pursuit of the truth.
