 The long wait is over! This jumbo sized episode kicks off season 5 with a bang. There's a lot to talk about, and PJ and EMac are joined in the studio by frequent guest and friend of the show, marathoner and guitarist from The Naticks, Ross MacAndrew. Ross updates us on his quest to qualify for the olympic trials, and tells us what The Naticks have been up to. 
      Topics discussed include the upcoming NFL season, the complete disaster that is the 2023 Red Sox season, and we pick up where we left off with our rewatch of the 2004 -Red Sox post-season. We're just getting to the good stuff as today we cover innings 7-9 of game 4 of the ALCS vs the New York Yankees, played at Fenway Park on October 17, 2004. When we left off, the Red Sox trailed in the series 3 games to none, and were trailing 4-3 after the sixth inning and facing elimination.

In this episode, recorded on 5/31, we talk about the Celtics' game 7 loss to the Miami Heat as their attempt to become the first NBA team to win a series after trailing 3-0 comes up a little short. We also continue our re-watch of the Red Sox 2004 post-season. Today we are discussing innings 4-6 of game 4 of the ALCS, with the Red Sox facing elimination, trailing the Yankees 3 games to none.   

In today's episode we have a convergence of events. We discuss the Celtics' chances of becoming the first NBA team to come back from down 3-0 to win a best of 7 series. We contrast this team with the 2004 Red Sox as we continue our re-watch of the 2004 post-season with innings 1-3 of game 4 of the 2004 ALCS. 

Today's short but sweet episode includes discussions about the Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins, but most importantly a whole bunch of Happy Birthdays to several friends and family in this very busy birthday month. We hope you enjoy listening!

Today we talk about the Celtics and Bruins' playoff series, with both teams currently holding 2-1 leads in their best of 7s. We also discuss if we may have underestimated the Red Sox, and if so by how much? Plus, we continue our re-watch of the Sox' 2004 postseason with innings 7-9 of game 3 of the ALCS vs the Yankees- about as much fun as a root canal. Maybe less. 

We are back after a 2 week layoff with a brand new episode. Today we get ready for what we hope are long playoff runs by the Bruins and Celtics. We also discuss the 2023 Red Sox' shortcomings, and we continue our 2004 Red Sox post-season re-watch with innings 4-6 of game 3 of the ALCS vs the New York Yankees.  

In today's episode we get right to the chase (kinda) and get in and out with updates on the goings on with the Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics. We will be back with a full length episode next week when things are hopefully a little less chaotic!

And finally, we continue our 2004 Red Sox postseason re-watch with the first 3 innings of game 3 of the ALCS vs the New York Yankees from Saturday, October 16th at Fenway Park in Boston. There are a total of 12 runs scored in these 3 action packed innings.
