It all comes down to this!  The Nicholls Colonels & UNO Privateers face off at 3 pm tomorrow (Saturday) for all the marbles...the Southland Conference regular-season Championship!  Austin Claunch, the mercurial young coach of the Colonels, joins Mike the evening before the big tilt to discuss what his team needs to pull out a victory over the very well-coached Privateers. Two great coaches. Two great teams. It promises to be a whale of a game tomorrow in Thibodaux!

Two great guests dominate most of "Sports Talk" Hour Two, and it's the Crescent City's two "Locked On" hosts including Jake Madison (Pelicans) & Ross Jackson (Saints).  Both are incredibly good at what they do, and their interviews with Mike this afternoon are extraordinary.  If you love the Saints & Pelicans, this hour of "Sports Talk" is definitely for you.

Locked On Saints Host Ross Jackson has been in Indianapolis all week for the NFL Combine, and for the second straight day, Ross joins Mike to chat about all of the action going on in Indy from day to day. Jackson does a great job covering the Saints, and today he brings a ton of information to the table about prospects who might look great in a Black & Gold uniform next season.

The New Orleans Pelicans & Utah Jazz have both come out of the gates red-hot after the NBA All-Star Weekend with 3 straight wins.  But tonight, one of them has to lose as the Pels & Jazz face off in the Smoothie King Center.  And Jake Madison, the host of "Locked on Pelicans" joins Mike to preview this big game for the Pels, who have won 8 of their last 12 games.

Hour One of "Sports Talk" today touches on all of the big sports events happening across South Louisiana (and South Texas) this weekend.  The Pelicans go for their 4th straight win tonight in the Smoothie King Center against the Utah Jazz.  The Saints scouts & front office are all in Indianapolis this weekend at the NFL Combine looking for prospects to select in the upcoming NFL Draft. The Tulane Green Wave Baseball team hosts Mississippi State, the defending National Champions. LSU Hoops hosts Alabama tomorrow morning, while the Tigers Baseball team plays in Houston this weekend against Oklahoma, #1 Texas & Baylor.  And in Thibodaux, Louisiana, the UNO Privateers play the Nicholls Colonels for the Southland Conference regular-season Hoops Championship & an automatic berth into at least the NIT (the winner of the Southland Conference Tournament gets an automatic bid into the NCAA Tourney. And yes, the UNO Privateers baseball plays this weekend as well!
