Drew and Des sacrifice their bodies to bring you another episode of Sportzball. Drew went to urgent care, Des wants Drew to take one for the team and die so she can sue NyQuil, and they both went to Broncos Training Camp. Is there proof? No, because Sean Payton doesn’t want any photos or videos of practice. Des thinks Jarrett Stidham should be QB 1 for the Broncos and it’s Cheaper by the Dozen at the Elliss household. The Dolphins helped the Lions get their confidence back in practice and apparently Tyreek Hill had no idea what the offense was because he never took notes.

Guys! There’s football games to talk about! What the hell?? Des and Drew realize they aren’t packed for their trip to Denver for training camp, they get to go right into all the preseason madness. Des doesn’t know how to feel about the Broncos game against the 49ers, but she has players that are catching her eye. Drew can’t talk too much about the Dolphins because the game is happening as they record, but he has thoughts on the joint practice the Dolphins had with the Bears. Which includes Mike McDaniel making his case for joining Fight Club.

The Dolphins are dropping like flies, especially their secondary, so out of solidarity Drew decided to drop like a fly and get the plague. We find out what he’s been up to for a week of knocking on death’s door and he begins to sound like a broken record with his lack of excitement for the Dolphins upcoming season. Is Mike McDaniel too goofy? Was Tyreek Hill seriously late for a meeting? It’s not looking good. 

The Broncos on the other hand are looking solid and the players are getting their bag. Courtland Sutton and Zach Allen hit big with their contract extensions, but the injury bug is hitting the Broncos’ Linebackers. We also find out what positions Drew and Des would be if they played in the NFL and Des has more issues with people rating things - this time it’s the Madden ratings.

It’s finally here.
