God arrests Moses in Exodus Chapter 3, by manifesting His presence through a bush on fire in the desert, which would not stop burning yet simultaneously was consumed. It got His attention. Like Moses, sometimes in our stubbornness and preoccupation, we don’t always pay attention. God will knock on our door. He will pursue us. His love will is unending and His mercies are new every morning. There is fresh bread today. Jesus taught us to pray,” Give us this day our daily bread..” Moses needed some backing. The great I AM that I AM sent him. God spoke in the constant present tense. He is not just a past reference or a future expectation. He is a very preset help in our time of need. No matter what you may be walking through today, He is present. He is not the, I was, or the, I will be. He is the, I Am. Jesus said in John chapter 10, “The thief comes to steal kill and destroy, but I have come to give you eternal life. Identifying Himself by saying, “I am the way!” is far greater in significance than just saying, “I will show you the way.” He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” God will always show up and never disappoint!
