Or do you have this strong inner guidance – because you know clearly what your personal values are that drive your decisions?
Are you aware about your own values?

What is it that makes you envy? Use it to define the right targets for you! Whatever you are lacking now – remember that you just done have it YET!
If you need guidance to define your targets in the right way, check out the episode that I made about reaching the own goals: #36 – Define, feel and reach your goals

What can you do when you recognize that you got triggered and you are close to overreact or have done already?
First: be proud of yourself that you are already reflecting your own behaviour in such a way! How many people get triggered and just let out their aggressiveness without questioning it?!
Here are the 5 steps that I explain in detail in this episode how you can handle it when you get triggered:

Are you desperately looking for a job? You write applications, you reach out to companies, you network and try to get in contact with recruiters and hiring managers – without success?
I am now a hiring manager myself, and I have observed that many people make at least one out of these three mistakes:
From the perspective of a hiring manager, these three mistakes would DISTRACT me from a candidate applying to the position that I have open, no matter how good the CV or cover letter looks like!
I am therefore sharing with you in this episode, what you should do to avoid making these mistakes.

Do you have this limiting belief as well “Don’t do anything stupid – what should the others think?!” In this episode you will realize: We all have that.

You don’t follow your New Year’s resolutions anymore?
Is it now too late for changing something in 2024? – NO!!!
It is never too late to define targets for you, no matter if you define them later in February, in spring or in summer!
It is the most important that you realize that you have to change something - in your behaviour or in your mindset – so that something in your life can change! Because as Albert Einstein said: “It is the definition of being insane, to do the same things again and again and expect different results!”
To really make a change in your life, you learn in this episode, how you define the right targets for you. Start by brainstorming with these questions:
1. Where would you like to be during the next month?
2. Who would you like to spend your time with?
3. What would you like to try?
4. What would you like to do more often?
5. What would you like to learn?
6. What do you want to achieve?
7. What is really important for you?
8. What experience of the last year would you like to make again?
9. What do you not want to tolerate anymore? And what do you want instead of it?
Identify your most important answers, and formulate your targets according to the SMART formula, also explained in this episode: #36 – Define, feel and reach your goals

What is empathy? How do you know that you are acting in an empathetic way and what can you do to become more empathetic?
In the second part of the interview with Joppe Quaedvlieg, we are linking his concept of Descriptive Communication to the important topic empathy – and both agree that this is what divides bad leaders and good leaders. We are discussing concrete situations at work and what are the worst mistakes that managers can make in their communication and behaviour.
Hear in this episode, that there are no tricks to become more empathetic out of a sudden, but that you can learn it, by continuously practicing
- Talking slowly
- Self-reflection
- Consciously care about the person in front of you
If you have not heard the first part of the interview, in which we introduce the concept of Descriptive Communication, you can find it here:
