In season two of the Spotty Kites podcast, we'll be focusing on quiet time.
It can be so tricky to settle down for a nap, or at the end of the day when it's time for bed, when you've got so many things in your head or there are so many other fun things to do!
It's important to listen to our bodies when we are tired, and in this series as we get ready for sleep, we'll learn about stars, animals and the night sky.
We hope you can join us for a sleepy story and a song!

One of our favourite insects are bumble bees. Have you seen bees buzzing around your garden?
Bees are very busy buzzing around, dropping into the flowers, sucking up the pollen and taking it back to their hive to make honey.
Did you know that at the end of their day that bees go to sleep just like us? It's important that we get a good sleep so we have plenty of energy to play and learn the next day.
Maybe you can use this song as a way to help you get to sleep each night!

Spotty Kites is a podcast full of music and learning for kids (and their grown ups), and hosted by Nonna Donna (Donna Dyson).
In this episode we are talking about dogs, and Nonna Donna's most favourite dog ever - Albert.
Albert loved going for walks, drives and ice cream! There's never been a dog Nonna Donna loved more than Albert, but eventually he grew old and took his last breath.
Sometimes we need to say goodbye to our special pets, but we can love and remember them forever, even though it still might hurt, or make us feel sad.

In this episode we're learning all about penguins, and one in particular called Percival Penguin.
Percival was a little bit different, because he loved to sing and dance! It's really important that we all find things that we love, that we are good at, and maybe what we could do when we grow up.
Giving our gifts and talents to help other people is important too, and you'll hear about how Percival did that in this song.
