As we wrap up chapter 2, we take note of Moses' diminishment, and the fact that it is his decrease, not his strength, talents, or giftedness that makes him suitable for God to use. 

As we move through Exodus 2, and see Moses taking matters into his own hands, we mark the direction he forgot to look.

As we move into Exodus 2, we note that God still does not speak, yet clearly is still at work, and mark the imagery painted by Moses being drawn out of the water. 

Today we consider the government of Egypt, her foul practices, and how God overruled the evil of men. We take these considerations as motivation to be salt and light in our own generation. 

As we continue the history of Israel in Exodus, we take note of Joseph's end, and consider how it relates to us. 

Today we complete our introduction to Exodus by seeking to appreciate the point of these events in Joseph's life, and applying that point to our own lives. 

As we examine the narrative of Joseph's brothers' trip to Egypt, we consider the picture of our own unwillingness to deal with some things that this story paints. 

Today we work through chapter 40, see how much Joseph has changed since his time in his father's house, and mark how God uses circumstances to grow us. 

As we continue the story of Joseph, we mark the fact that God was with Joseph in slavery and in prison, and not because of anything in Joseph. 

Today we begin our series on The Exodus by looking at Joseph's story, so that we can understand how God's people ended up in need of rescue from slavery.
