Quintez Brown, a Louisville, Kentucky, activist accused of trying to kill a mayoral candidate in a shooting, has been released on bail from county jail. The Louisville Community Bail Fund, a group affiliated with the Louisville chapter of Black Lives Matter, paid the $100,000 bond Wednesday afternoon.

San Francisco residents overwhelmingly approved of a vote Tuesday to recall three of the city’s school board members.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams said he believes the city’s rule barring Brooklyn Nets player Kyrie Irving from playing in NBA home games because he’s unvaccinated is "unfair" since visiting unvaccinated players can play.

Adams said he was reluctant to amend the rule, however, because it would send a "mixed message" that an exception can be made for a celebrity but not regular employees or audience members in the arena

Yesterday, Congressman Billy Long joined us to talk about the U.S. Senate race. If you missed it, you can listen by clicking here.

During the interview, Mr. Long mentioned Sen. Hawley and his recent endorsement of Vicky Hartzler.

Long says Hawley mislead him about his involvement in the race.

Sen. Hawley is one of the Senate's most vocal critics of China and of the United States' imports of Chinese goods. On Monday, a fellow Republican in his own state's congressional delegation accused him of selling Chinese-made coffee mugs.

Vicky Hartzler has a new ad out.

The trial has started between Samantha Cherry and CoxHealth CEO, Steve Edwards. While trying to schedule an appointment for her son, Cherry was instructed to use the promo code ‘COVID’. Cherry said she didn’t feel comfortable doing that and made a Facebook post about it. CoxHealth CEO Steve Edwards used a screenshot of Cherry’s post without blurring her photo, name, and child’s name. Cherry says it’s discrimination, defamation, and breach of patient privacy. She asked for $5 million in the lawsuit.

Last month, the Springfield City Council voted to approve a new Springfield flag.

A group who opposed the new flag started collecting signatures to get the decision reversed. A petition was submitted to the city, but turned down because they claim there was an insufficient number of signatures. The group was not granted extra days to collect new signatures.

There was a survey conducted on how Springfield residents feel about the flag. Turns out, there was a lot of duplicate respondents.

An internal investigation of the Metropolitan Police Department has reportedly found the beating of an unconscious Trump supporter by an officer during the Jan. 6 Capitol protest to be "objectively reasonable."
