Amy explained the darkness and sadness within the COVID unit. There was no family visits, no flowers, and no 'get well soon' cards.

Unfortunately, their father passed away several weeks after being in the COVID unit.

Amy and Sarah talk about The COVID Care Project.

The COVID Care Project aims to bring light within the COVID unit. The group is putting together COVID care baskets to be delivered to the patients in the hospital. These baskets will be filled with new warm blankets, motivational posters for their walls or (partition walls), new stuffed animals, and small snacks they might miss from outside the hospital as well as personalized notes from kids to give them hope.

President Joe Biden announced Thursday that all employers with more than 100 workers to be vaccinated or test weekly for the coronavirus. All health facilities receiving federal Medicare or Medicaid will also be required to get their employees vaccinated.

More than 600,000 letter-carriers and administrative staff of the US Postal Service won’t have to get a shot.

Biden also left out mandating the vaccine for illegal immigrants crossing the border.

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson made a statement regarding the vaccine mandate, saying it's “unwelcome in our state.”

Will Gov. Parson actually DO something about this? Or is this just lip service?
