Best of Nick - A Springfield woman is speaking out after Cox Hospital is allegedly requiring patients to put “COVID” in order to make a virtual appointment. The woman skipped the question because that’s NOT what the visit was for. Cox allegedly called her back and said she had to mark it in order to make the appointment… Why? The CEO of Cox Tweeted out about the incident, saying “In March, Cox decided to provide free COVID telemedicine to address the uninsured and reduce exposure risk. In the software, a coupon code had to be chosen instead of insurance field, “COVID” It was a public service. I regret anyone would think it is part of a conspiracy theory.”
