We often hear the phrase, "Spend time with God," or "Quiet time," but what does that mean? How do we spend time with a God we can't see? How do we know how to have this time? What do we do during it? Well, it may be easier than you think. It's not about a pattern, it's about building a passion for the One you spend the time with.

How do you hear a God you can't see? How do you know what he's telling you during the course of everyday life? The truth is, He's speaking and it may be in ways we're not paying attention to.

The topic of prayer can raise a lot of questions. Why do I need to pray if God already knows? How do I pray without losing my attention? When should I be praying? What should I pray about? All of those questions have answers and when you know them, it changes your prayer life.

What does it mean for us to know Christ? What does it do for us and in our lives? It’s an undeserved privilege and amazing promise. A privilege that we do nothing to earn but get to keep.

Is there some recurring temptation, some vulnerability, some weakness that you need God’s help to overcome?  If you are alive, the answer is probably yes to that question. So, how do we resist temptation?  How do we protect our minds and guard our thoughts?

Temptation is defined as, "Anything that promises forever satisfaction at the cost of obedience to God.” Let's talk about four truths about temptation and what we can do when we inevitably face temptations.

Defining moments usually come when we least expect them. When they do, what should our response be? Follow God's lead and burn the plow!

What do you do when God doesn’t meet your expectations? When that happens, it can be discouraging and even cause us to doubt ourselves and God. What if God doesn’t want to meet your expectations, what if he wants to do something so much greater?

What do you lack? What do you seem to not have enough of? The truth is, we all feel like we’re lacking the things we need the most at times. When things are lacking, where we go to get them makes a big difference. Let’s go to the source.

Relationships are messy. Others betray us and abandon us and we do the same to others. Relationships are important too, though. How do we react when others let us down?
