Have you ever heard Christians talk about "strongholds"? This is a big one! so, let’s define strongholds.  It literally means, “a fortified prison; a strong castle.”  It’s not a physical prison but a mental prison.  Where are you locked in? What lies are you believing?

Have you ever noticed how some Christians seem to speak a whole different language? Have you ever heard someone talk about a hedge or wall of protection? Let's talk about that phrase and what it really means.

There's almost an entire set of vocabulary that church people use. We throw words around that we've always heard but rarely fully understand. What does it mean to “plead the blood" of Jesus over someone or something? We're looking at how this phrase plays a role in spiritual warfare.

A lot of people know who Jesus is... Well, most people know the name, but do they really know about Him? Because of Jesus, qualities like humility and forgiveness, which were little regarded in most of the ancient world, became almost universally admired. He cared about people. He valued people. He did this without thinking about what they could do in return or how rich they were or how good they were.  Jesus spent time with people because He’s gracious and He’s good. Jesus was and still is a friend of sinners…

We all have a desire to be fulfilled, to be of value, and to live with a purpose. The problem is, we're often fed the lie that in order to be fulfilled, we have to be about ourselves. What would John the Baptist tell us about living a life of purpose? Let's take a look at his defining moment to see.

We all have a story. Our story is unique to us and is undeniable to the people who hear it. Paul's story has one of a tough past but a powerful future. Yours is unique, too. What's your story? Don't take it for granted, and don't keep it quiet.

Where are you sitting? It's not about the chair you're in, but what your life is centered around. The truth is, where we find ourselves is often a product of what's around us and who's around us. It's time we wake up and take the right seat.

Who we believe we are determines what we think about and what we focus on. If we're going to walk in the freedom and peace Jesus has for us, we have to focus and think about what is true and right. We have to have our minds set in the right place. When it comes to our focus, it’s time for us to set it and forget it.

Is there an area of your life where you’re saying, “My God is King,” and yet you’re doing what’s right in your own eyes? Is there some area of your life where you’re claiming, yes, “I am a follower of Jesus,” and yet you’re following your own truth and not His truth? To get to where God wants you to be, you have to walk away from a place that is not His will.
