Radikal Kuss also means an enigmatic project hidden behind the idea to engage, without compromises, in a powerful techno body music with punishing and percussive lyrics. Dirty beats, alarming synths, huge bass and erotic tension are their weapons to accomplish their urgent mission.

Cologne TECHNO stalwarts and pioneers as well Claus Bachor (https://www.discogs.com/artist/36206-Claus-Bachor) and Roland Casper (https://www.discogs.com/artist/4554-Roland-Casper) did what they always do if both appear 2gether b2b behind the wheels of steel: Still playin' straightforward, serious TECHNO. No matter if it's Detroit or Chicago, Acid or HiTechFunk/Electro, Industrial/EBM or Breaks or, at the end, Future Classics or The Unexpected. Always up to date or just as deep as fu** in their own history between the first RAVE CLUB days (https://psychothrillcologne.tumblr.com/raveclubcologne), the gone but nvr forgotten Cologne BNKR and beyond. Pure SCIENCE FRICTION TECHNO without any boundaries which means nothin' more or less like true Resistance, Rebellion and Future Activism. Finally, as always, at the end of a "Psycho Thrill" Abfahrt, "There are no rules, fear is unknown and sleep is out of question!"

Xtra props-n-shoutz out to Werner Griese and Andi Belic 4 makin' this one possible that nite!

SITH UTR 674.fm Podcast 042 by ANTIKKKA

[MIXWORKS DETROIT | Twister | Hoscotch Rec., BLN-DET-TelAviv]

Brief bio of a DJane: Originally from Israel, Antikkka grew up in Tel Aviv‘s eclectic music scene. Her musical background is diverse and grounded at a young age. As a child, she listened to her grandfather’s tapes of old Libyan music while helping to organize his music collections. At the age of 14, Antikkka started playing bass guitar and being heavily influenced by the Riot Grrrl feminist movement. Her musical tastes were later expanded and shaped when hanging out in local record shops.

By the age of 19, Antikkka found herself working at the only lesbian bar in Tel-Aviv called "The Minerva", where her boss asked her to play as a DJ after hearing her mix tapes. This would be the start of her career into electronic dance music. Two years later she packed her studio and moved to Berlin chasing unknown sounds. Meeting the Buzz Goree's Mixworks (DET) crew she discovered her love to the sound of Detroit and Chicago. Nowadays Antikkka Dj'ing in clubs as: Watergate, Suicide Circus, Griessmulle, Ipse and her music being heard in clubs around the world Antikkka got her debut vinyl on Mixworks “Club Goers EP” release and two more upcoming EP's in 2018/19.

Hardfacts ... U know the score: Back when radio ruled the Motor City and the boombox gave us mixtapes, live broadcasts were the very essence of the Detroit club-music scene. Technology was turning cassettes into CDs and Rebecca Goldberg’s frequent trips to Harmony House fueled her music collection. She poured over the cherished tunes spun on Saturday nights at the State Theatre’s legendary “Club X”. Inspired by Stacey “Hotwaxx” Hale, the D's Godmother of House Music, who was reigning over the airwaves, it was only a matter of time before Rebecca would satiate her musical appetite as a disc jockey.

Goldberg is now a seasoned radio DJ, having mixed on Detroit public radio station WDET 101.9's Sunday Sessions show, 89.3 WHFR out of Dearborn, as well as many internet radio stations hosted worldwide. She holds down a few residencies for Detroit area dance nights including her monthly SOUND SPACE night featuring underground artists from across the US. She has performed in world renowned venues like Tresor (Berlin) and Silencio (Paris). And she has several self-released music and mutimedia projects as well as multiple vinyl releases on Detroit Underground and has recently released her third vinyl EP on Andy Garcia’s imprint Cryovac Recordings. Rebecca is currently based in Detroit and gigging worldwide. Keep reading more about Detroit's 313 Acid Queen ...

OLIVER KAPP

[ “CREAM" l “INTERTSTATE” l “LUXURY CHAIR” l INDULGE l RAYGUN l COCOON REC. l THEORY UK l GRAMMAR NL l LOGISTIC FRA l STOCKHOLM Ltd., Hamburg GER ]

OLIVER KAPP is a DJ and producer from Germany, born in 1969, recently based in Hamburg and strictly devoted to Techno(-Soul). He is the founder of Indulge & Raygun Records. Having grown up in the early 80’s eclectic combination of funk/house music (Lil’ Louis, Derrick May), European electronica (Kraftwerk, Liaisons Dangereuses), synth-infused 80s music (Newcleus, Cerrone) … all which became infused with his own love for both house and detroit music, Kapp ended up with quite a huge mixed spectrum of musical influences.

Today, these circumstances translate all into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of the music that he loves at its very best. As a producer, label owner and promoter, he has also found plenty of ways to express himself musically. He still runs the Vinyl labels Indulge & Raygun Records plus diverse sub-imprints like Moto-Music and has several releases on Cocoon Rec, International DJ Gigolo, Theory, Logistic, Stockholm Ltd. ect so far…!
