TO THIS DAY, the always straight cutting-edged HOUSE-SOUND of the US-WestCoast is still a largely unrecognized electronica form of 4/4-play in Europe, which with the terms of DUB-/ SPACE-TECH or HYPNO HOUSE only partially has the deep, psychedelic character like that Funkyness of a specifically highly infectious NuDisco club sound that strangely goes back to David Rodigan's “REBEL RADIO” Pirates (UK) through one of his local US Bay Area protagonists - DJ Garth (Grayhound) for a deeper understanding - in its origin. This "UNDER THE RADAR" special Mix by Claus Bachor, as a first part of a SpyInTheHouse summer special on Cologne's 674.fm web-broadcast - hosted like alwayz by Psycho Thrill Cologne!

By the way, 33 featured US-WestCoast tracks here by John Howard, Aquarhythms (remixed by Morgan Geist), The Coastal Commission (2), Soulstice (2/ remixed by Soul-Tek und Landslide), Blue Six (remixed by Aquanote), The Beat Criminals, Don Crisp & Chris Lum, Rocket (2), DJ Garth & E.T.I., Blakkat, Nectar, Hipp-E/ DJ Vitamin D/ Halo, Marino Bernardi (remixed by Rob Rives), Ted MG & Ovi (2), Franky Boissy & Bionic SF, DJ Buck, 6400 Crew pres.
