Squad World Pod

This week the squad teams up with NBA expert Cameron Elder to look at every team in the NBA this season and everyone gives their finals predictions at the end of the season. We delve into which teams will surprise and which will fall flat, and Bat dishes out several signature hot takes. A special Florida Man themed segment of BS or Legit put together by E raises eyebrows and our guest receives a gift near and dear to out hearts. 

This week, the squad is joined by a very special guest and environmental expert, Megan Hill. Meg joins the pod to answer some of the hardest environmental conundrums and to help us lay a framework to a better future. Cube helps us discover a great hidden restaurant gem in Louisville and Bat teaches us on the White Huns. All in all, a very cool episode and a great time. 

In this episode the squad takes a look at each and every NFL team and how they have fared in the 2020 season. We critique and praise certain teams and find new ways to laugh at the Jets. E and Cube take us to the world of college sports and get us prepared for college basketball and everyone picks their CFB Playoff Champion. Bat takes us to the East as we learn about the storied importance of jade (yes, the rock). 

Merry Christmas! In this special holiday edition of SquadWorld we go over each NBA game and the one NFL game on Christmas and talk about our favorite Christmas classics. Bat brings a special holiday blast from the past and E goes off the rails with BS or Legit. This episode is packed like a fruitcake so make sure to listen. 

We're back after a long break! And we've come back in full force with Bat's biggest blast from the past of all time, the history of Germany. We take a look back at a toxic health fad and look forward to possible similarities in the present day. The idea of too much social media is dissected and we take a look at some cool coins.

In this edition we welcome in the first ever Squad World Podcast special guest, the honorable, Andrew Moak. Andrew has been the president of organizations including 2 fraternities, has attended many leadership conferences, and is currently studying accounting and finance while also studying international business. Moak answers questions from Ethan and Nathan about leadership and his life experience, The Squad also discusses who would win - a grizzly bear or a silverback gorilla, in a heated exchange. Moak tries his best to not get fooled by Ethan in BS or Legit with The Squad while Bat's Blast from the Past dives into Japanese combat and their very large swords.

We're back for another edition of the Squad World Podcast! The Squad opens up this episode discussing whether they would want to be famous or powerful. Bat's Blast from the Past covers the entire history of the country of Poland, and the tragedies they've faced. The Squad also discusses infectious diseases and how crazy wet markets are in China. In Bat's Blast from the Past, he tells us all about the Tulip Bubble in the Netherlands - when the Dutch could buy a house with tulips! Fig brings up the next invisible killer - prions, an abnormally folded protein that is nearly impossible to kill and extremely deadly! The episode finishes up with Ethan telling us about his encounter with Bill Murray at the NCAA Tournament in a Des Moines hotel lobby.

Pete's finally here! He is actually real folks! In this episode of the Squad World Pod, Fig tells us about the Things We'll Miss. Ranging from the disappearance of Saturn's rings and the collision of galaxies. Bat's Blast From the Past dives into the wild pimping laws of Sicily in the Middle Ages, and the Squad begins a discussion about how gorillas might be in the stone age. This episode also includes a great segment of BS or Legit with the entire Squad being fooled by Ethan on one of the made up stories. We also discuss a crazy Spanish author that is trying to get to space with a homemade rocket. The episode is wrapped up with a discussion about Covid-19 and the massive Patrick Mahomes contract..

Squad World is back for another one and this one is deep folks. The Squad goes in depth about the space conspiracies of Boot's Void, a super void in deep space that has stunned scientists and caused plenty of conspiracy theories. The Squad also discusses the purpose of struggle and how it impacts our lives. We are also blessed with a fantastic edition of Bat's Blast from the Past. He absolutely brings the heat with some great facts about the expanse of the Roman Empire. The Squad finishes up the episode discussing how Covid-19 will impact our society.
