  • WWE. Then. Now. Forever. Together.

Hello! I lived streamed via twitch on 6.18.22. I discussed the bombshell dropped on us by the WALL STREET JOURNAL and not by wrestling dirt sheets! So, I believe this scandal of Vince McMahon giving 3 million plus 100,000 extra hush money to his mistress — his love affair.

Last month between the Sasha and Naomi situation and the MJF/Tony Khan situation, the dirt sheets were super messy on they handled the information. Lost creditability by mixing up stories and sources and more.

And fans still pay $5-13 for lies, backtracks, blaming, and fluff. Investing in original wrestling content creators is the way to go. Just a reminder, we don’t have a large company supporting this newsletter or any wrestling content we create.

Anyway, here is extra reading material on the whole Vince McMahon Scandal.

And then! Because VKM needs to step down — which he does but will remain in charge of creative — Stephanie McMahon is named Interim CEO in Vince McMahon’s absence.

  • NJPW Dominion Full Review 6.12.22

Welcome to the Squared Circle Podcast! I am your host Marie Shadows!

I review, in full, NJPW Dominion. Dominion and Dontaku are the biggest shows for NJPW. Here is what I went over:

    1. All 10 matches.
    2. Having United Empire - Will Ospreay and Aussie Open with Aaron Henare - take the loss against FTR and Trent during AEW Rampage stopped any momentum heading to Forbidden Door June 26th. FTR claims to be “the best” tag team…well if they lost then they have something to prove. If someone keeps talking, they are the best and keeps winning, are they truly THE BEST TAG TEAM in the world without fault. The road shouldn’t be straight without curve balls. It’s tiresome. This conversation happened during the Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan vs Fale and Chase Owens for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. (21 mins in)
    3. Tama Tonga losing his NEVER Openweight Championship to Karl Anderson made no sense. We all know that heels do not elevate the NEVER division. Tama didn’t even get started to elevate the NEVER division. I created a what-if story between Tama and Karl had Tama actually retained. This one bothered. (36 mins in)
    4. Do we really need Okada at Forbidden Door on June 26th? More wrestlers wanted to face Tanahashi more than Okada. Tanahashi is the main attraction for Forbidden Door.
    5. Jay White is not for the highly sensitive, in their feelings fans. Jay White calls things as is, speaks the truth with no lies at all, so just be aware.
