On the third anniversary of the Boeing 737 MAX Lion Air crash, we take a look at what is going on at one of the top aerospace companies in the world.
Three years hence, Boeing seems to be neck deep in problems still: The Boeing 787 manufacturing defects are expected to cost $1billion, the Boeing 777X is massively delayed and Emirates, which is the launch customer for the 777X is doubtful when it will fly the aircraft, and the Boeing 737 MAX is pending re-certification in China which is causing massive inventory pile-up.
Despite these challenges, Boeing says it has commenced work on its new aircraft, what was known as the Boeing NMA (Boeing NSA). More details in the episode.
