In this weeks episode of the SRC Ultimo Podcast, we had a chat withTom Wood, who used to be a student here at Billy Blue once upon a time, and is now a learning facilitator, specialising in the realm of 3D, animation, and VFX.

 

Having experience working for studios and as a freelancer, he tells us a little about his story leading up to where he is now, before serenading us with his ukulele as he does with his online classes.

In this week's episode of the SRC Ultimo Podcast, we have a chat with David Kay and the Industry Team for Design and Creative Technology about Live Briefs and Internships, as well as many of the amazing projects that the team works on. Besides his work at the university, David also has his own side venture that has seen him appear on Shark Tank - a shower and bath in one, named 'Roman Showers'.

Liam Key is the Academic Coordinator for Digital Media at Billy Blue College of Design / TUA. He has spent many years of his life moving fluidly between different fields; anything from film, to 3D modelling and animation, to programming and web design; now looking after 3 Bachelor's degrees and Diplomas in these areas. In this episode of the SRC Ultimo Podcast, Liam takes us through his role at the university, his PhD research into visualising DMT Hallucinations with 3D animation, his NFT Artworks, and his live laser music show that is in the works.
