Among the thousands of discourses delivered by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, those that He gave as part of the Summer Course series are remarkably special. They are focussed on specific spiritual themes, and as they are for youngsters, the elucidation is gradual. In this series, members of Radio Sai and some senior devotees, go through the discourses delivered as part of the 1990 Summer Course Series.

'Shravanam Mananam Nidhidhyasanam' which can be translated as 'Listen, Reflect and Assimilate' is a Vedantic edict to the spiritual aspirant on how the Supreme Truths are to be approached and absorbed. In this series, short clips of the discourses are listened to and reflected upon, with the prayer that the assimilation happens.

Mr B V Ramana Rao was the pioneer of the Sri Sathya Sai Sevadal movement being among the earliest devotees to join as a sevadal and be guided by Bhagawan in shaping the activities of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India.

He was involved in every major activity of the Sri Sathya Sai Mission since the sixties and was the National Service Coordinator of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations for decades and later also served as the Editor of Sanathana Sarathi (Telugu), the ashram monthly magazine. His life is an inspiration to hundreds and thousands of volunteers of the Sai movement across the world.

The Vahinis are compilation of articles written by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself on various themes from 1958 till 1984. Prema Vahini, Sandeha Nivarini, Geeta Vahini, Ramakatha Rasavahini, and so on are a few examples. This series is a discussion on the message that Bhagawan has penned in these volumes.
