Disobeying God leads to trouble, yet God remains in control and faithful to his promises.

We can come into a right relationship with God through taking Him at His word and putting our trust in His promises - promises made by the same God who raised Jesus from the dead. This trust should change the way we live.

God is faithful even when we are faithless. 

God takes the initiative, works through his Word and Abraham responds in faithful obedience.

The great Easter scandal is that through the death and resurrection of Jesus, we receive eternal life. 

The greatest scandal of all is that God’s Son, our King, suffers for the sin of the world. His death is effective, such that it changes everything.

The innocent die while the guilty go free.

A disciple's confidence is always in God. In recent days our attention has alarmingly turned to our survival and many will worry if they are up to the challenge. God encourages us to do what we should always have been doing: put our hope and trust in Him.

Confidence in God's character frees us to love and serve.

Disciples of Jesus Christ love other disciples and show this by what they do and say.
