Prayer is a priority when we remember with whom we are speaking.

A disciple of Jesus does not worry, but seeks His kingdom first, knowing that God will provide what they need.

If we do not put our relationship with Jesus above all other relationships in our lives, we cannot be his disciple. 

As Disciples of Jesus, there is a cost to following him, but it is a cost that is worth paying.

Discipleship is not a self-improvement program demanding an iron will and remedial behaviour modification. Rather, embracing Jesus as Lord grows us through the careful hearing of his word.

A disciple of Jesus comes under the authority of Jesus and follows his command to make disciples of the nations.

We all must be re-born to see and enter the kingdom of Heaven. This new and eternal life begins with looking upon Jesus, and believing in him for salvation. The life of a believer involves full transformation and commitment-living in the light and in the truth. 

Discipleship is a process of personal fellowship with Jesus and His people which brings life-changing transformation.

We learn from Thomas how firstly, disciples believe when they see, secondly, how other disciples believe by not seeing and thirdly, those who believe by not seeing, believe through reading God’s word.

When Andrew and Philip found out who Jesus was, they followed him and brought others to him. How do we react to Jesus?
