The story of Jonah is much loved by children but why did Jonah run so fast - not even stopping to argue with God? Will seeks to answer this question and looks at how God was in charge of all that went on in Jonah's attempted flight to Tarshish and is also in charge of our lives now. The sermon explores how we all have Ninevehs in our lives and challenges us to identify them and to cooperate with God's calling on our lives.

Based on the letter to Smyrna in Revelation 2, Jonathan illustrates both the costs and the certainties of living as a committed follower of Christ.

Ruth had forsaken everything in her commitment to the LORD; the LORD rewarded her by showing her His kindness, or "covenant-love", through the kindness of Boaz. Boaz is a "kinsman-redeemer", who foreshadows our "kinsman-redeemer", the Lord Jesus Christ.
