Jack, our Director of Youth, brings this message about letting go of our past so that we can grab a hold of our future. There are so many lies that the enemy tells us. God speaks truth and love into our lives but we need to let go of the hurtful things so that healing can begin.
We are getting closer to Christmas and our future is bright in Jesus.

Christmas comes in the midst of all the busyness and mess of life. That is just like the first Christmas. it was not exactly what one would expect God to be born in the world
It is time to go back to simple Christmas. There is no "perfect" Christmas today. And we shouldn't expect it.
Giving of our time, giving of our talents and calendar managment. What does your calendar look like from last month? What fills it up is where your focus is. How can you give of your time more, whether it is at St. John's or somewhere else.
Just take the step. We all have time which we could give something. It doesn't have to be a mission trip to Africa but it can be helping pack a food box or volunteering with children's ministry. We invite you to step out and engage your faith in a physical and practical way. Our service today ended with a ministry fair where there were 12 tables of opportunities to explore. Need more info?
