Who is the Holy Spirit? And why do we need to yield? Let's explore some of the symbols of the Holy Spirit to better understand and apply to our lives

Happy Mother's Day 2020. It certainly looks different this year than in years past. God is with us in every situation and sometimes, we need to adjust how we look it the situations we are in.

Communion is more than a ritual, then something to go through the motions, to check off on your To Do list. It is a call to active participation in worship, to take your place at the table of the King.  St. John's takes this time to have communion, in our homes, or wherever you are listening to this. Come to the table. There is always a place for you.

Sometimes, we need to take a step back in order to see the whole picture. Six months ago looked very different than it does right now. Six months ago, we talked about minsitry engagement. What does ministry look like now? 

Jesus laid out the plan for establishing a Kingdom culture with his disciples and for us. What would earth look like if we allowed the Holy Spirit to move within our lives and the world around us? When we feel limited - we are limitless! Where we feel superficial- we are supernatural!

The tomb is empty. He has RISEN, just as He said. We celebrate because the stone was rolled away, the cloth was vacated and He was not in the grave. 

When the veil was torn, it was one of the ways that God opened up access to Him fully for everyone. What does that mean to you to have full access to God?

There were recorded events during the crucifiction of Jesus Christ that can be explained by science and some that are simply, miraculous. It is recorded that darkness fell over the land for 3 hours. Maybe God is trying to get your attention today. What darkness are you facing right now?
