Let us all seek forgiveness as we begin the Great and Holy Fast of Lent

God has given us everything we need to seek Him, each of us in our own God-given way.

What is it that Christ truly wants? Is it not our hearts? Let us then offer ourselves unto our Lord as He already offers Himself to us through His most holy Body and sacred Blood.

Throughout our lives we inevitably fall to the wayside, are distracted and fail to seek and glorify our Lord. Though, just as St. Mary and St. Joseph sought Christ anxiously, let us also seek Him anxiously, without delay, straining with all our might toward the Author and Perfecter of our faith that we may be made whole.

As we recognise was stage we are in let us then move closer to Christ by not only thanking Him for the physical but to desire the spiritual and eternal as well!

Let us all learn from St. John the Forerunner, of his great humility and of how he gives all glory to God. In our lives we can always point everything back to God or we can acclaim the accolade for ourselves.

The Church offers us so much richness and through it we are led to Christ. We are called to partake of the life in the Church but more than that we are called to hear the Word of God and keep it.

Whenever we hear the whisper of God to flee, let us not delay! Tune in as Fr Dan gives us guidance on listening and obeying the voice of God.

God is found within the insignificant things in life. Within the simplicity of daily acts that bring us closer to Him. As we celebrate the Feast of the Nativity, let us remember the beauty that our Lord has brought to us by being born in a way that is exemplary of how to live our lives.
