Storms hit us when we are transitioning from one stability to another in our lives. We need to ask How Can I find peace in this storm? God is with us in every storm.

God will forgive our sins because he wants us in a realtionship with him. If we sin we are divided from him.

Our spiritual rebirth begins with our belief and acceptance that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Lord.

The Holy Spirit is our Advocate. It speaks teh truth, guides us, helps us in our time of weakness and intercedes for us.

Jesus wants us to become sanctifeid, that is to become holy.

We should abide in God's Love, enjoy each day and bear fruit through our love of others.

We love because God loved us first. We receive God's love first then we can share it with others.

What does it mean to love? There are three greek words for love: 1) Aeros: romantic love; 2) Phelios: family/brotherly love; and 3) Agape: God's love. God's agape love isn't an emotion, it doesn't change, and it is beyond our human understanding.

The apostles were frightened because they thought they were seeing a ghost, and not a resurected Christ. At times they were unable to understand what he was talking about before he was crucified.
