As people of faith, we are trees. We are useful to God. We are planted in particular places, to accomplish God's purpose. Each one of us is unique.

Need to be full present, attentive to God's power & the Holy Spirit...with full conviction. When we are engaged, amazing things happen.

Is it better to be peaceful or happy? Paul teaches us the value of peace and how it can change our perspective by rejoicing, not worrying, and praying

God has great expectations/hope for us.

We all need God's grace no matter whether we come to god now or later

In light of the anniversary of 9/11- we are reminded that we are dependent of God. Paul tells us in Romans that if we live, we live in God. We are the Lords. In this sermon, Pastor Beth looks at how we all live interdependently together and how we can do it as God desires.

Forgiveness – have an open heart

When something is done to us we are hurt and it may turn into hatred

Forgiveness is important because 1. It is a doorway to a relationship with God, we ask for forgiveness from God and God wipes it away. 2. It shows others the way to live in Christ. 3. An unforgiving spirit destroys us.
