This sermon, presented by Pastor Beth Giller, is based on the gospel of John chapter 17, verses 6-19. In this sermon, we get a look at Jesus' prayer for the for us prior to Him heading back to His father. In this prayer, He prays that will be safe from temptation, sanctified and growing in our relationship with Christ, and sent out to tell others about Him.

Pastor Beth uses Mark 16:1-8 to share with us the need to seize the day of the resurrection. Christ had four characteristics that can help us to be in the moment. He was mindful, grateful, intentional, and relational.

This sermon, given by Pastor Beth, challenges us to bear fruit for God by having deep roots, spreading our branches out, letting God direct our progress, and by being closer to Jesus today than we were yesterday. The scripture used in the sermon was John 12:20-33. In this passage, Jesus tells us that "unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit."
