Who in your life needs the touch of Jesus? Pastor Beth challenges us in tonight's Lenten sermon to reach people with Jesus by meeting their needs. Scripture readings include 1 John 3:16-20 and Matthew 25:34-40.

In this sermon, Pastor Beth uses Numbers 21:4-9 and John 3:14-21. The John scripture references the story from Numbers. What do you expect from God? God meets our needs not our expectations. Pastor gives us three things to think about. Distractions endanger our faith, not everyone knows Jesus, and God's intentions for us are good.

In this wednesday Lent sermon, Pastor Beth talks about change; our resistance to change, the need for change and what changes we as a congragation might need to pray about and consider.

This sermon, given by Pastor Beth, showed us three things from John 2:13-22. The three things were that we become distracted from the things we should be paying attention to, that the Lord provides opportunity to focus on the right things, and that God promises to help us change. She ends with challenging us to clean up three areas of our lives, our space, schedules and spirits.

In this Sunday's sermon, Pastor Beth preached on the Gospel of Mark 8:31-38. She talks about the need to "Deny ourselves" and to "Take up the Cross". We deny ourselves when we set aside the "easy way" and choose the "right way" recognizing that Jesus walks with us in our life. When we take up the cross, we recognize our sinful selves and, like when we deny ourselves, choose the harder, more spiritually mature way.
