Opening yourself up to Jesus in thought, words and deeds.

No matter how big your problem is, how you respond, God is there to help you get through the trying time.

The last in the series on Mr Rogers, we take a look at the road to being kind just like him. The road to kindness starts with these simple questions/phrases: Can I help you?, Don't beat yourself up., Forgive and forget., and Pay it forward.

Grace is a gift. Mr Rogers was grace full and shared it with others. He made sure that everyone knew that they were loved for just the way they were.

The neighbor is the one who stops and helps. We are invited to care for others and are given the resources to do so. We are called to see all our neighbors.

What exactly is the neighborhood? In the neighborhood we all belong, we all depend on one another, and we all have something to do. Belonging to the neighborhood is about love. All members of the neighborhood are important.

Sin & Grace - Because we sin we are separated from God. Every day we miss the mark (Greek word for missing the mark - hamartia). Jesus makes division go away/he bridges the way. Jesus is the sacrifice. Song "Just as I AM" - reminder of sin and that we are loved just the way we are.
