Christ enters Jerusalem and the crowds lay everything before Him… but will they follow Him through the narrow gate? It’s easy to say “Hosanna” when He gives, but what happens when He asks us to let go? What am I still holding onto that won’t fit through the narrow gate?

It’s easy to follow Christ when the crowds are shouting and everything feels joyful—but will we stay with Him beyond the moment? Before the cross comes, Christ invites us to see His glory and to know that we are truly loved. No matter where you’ve been or what you’re carrying, He is knocking at the door of your heart. Will you stay with Him—not just today, but through the whole journey?

We shout “Hosanna” today—but will we still follow Christ when the cross comes? The same crowd that praised Him on Sunday rejected Him on Friday, not because He changed, but because their expectations did. Do we love Christ for who He is, or only for what He gives us? As He stands at the door of our hearts this Holy Week, the question remains: will we truly receive Him, or turn away when the path becomes narrow?

When hope seems buried, Christ doesn’t see an end—He sees a beginning. He still tells us, remove the stone. What is the stone in your life that you’re refusing to move? The same voice that called Lazarus is calling you too!

What truly matters? In this story from the Gospel today, once this man was healed by Christ nothing else in the world mattered to him. He was before the feet of the Living God. For us we are encouraged by Fr Sam to insert ourselves into these stories and live in the same way.

The entrance of Christ into Jerusalem is how He exactly reveals Himself to us as well. In humility. And in turn we too, if we desire for Him enter in and to be enthroned upon our hearts must also humble ourselves.
