In this episode of the St. Paul Podcast, Pastor Jacob Schultz speaks with the author of The Spiritually Vibrant Home: The Power of Messy Prayers, Loud Tables, and Open Doors, Pastor Don Everts.

Pastor Everts shares insights from his book which delves into the topic of how practices, conversations, and hospitality play a role in the spiritually vibrancy of our households. The author reflects on the experiences in his own household and the many different types of households he saw in his own church as the inspiration behind the book.

Working with Barna and Lutheran Hour Ministries, he focused his research on Christian households where faith was thriving and found three common factors that lead to spiritual vibrancy in these households: Messy Prayers, Loud Tables, and Open Doors. Pastor Schultz and Pastor Everts discuss these factors, what they mean, and how you can incorporate these practices into your household.
