Our Lent focus is 'Prepare To Die (So You Can Live)'. In this talk we consider what we believe about why we die. As we do so, we discover that having a healthy, Jesus centred view of death can help us live a life that is full and free.

Our Lent focus this year is 'Prepare To Die (so you can live). We start on Ash Wednesday reflecting on Ecclesiastes 7:4, and thinking on the idea that considering death and loss will lead to fullness of life and a deeper sense of who God is and who we are.

On Transfiguration Sunday, we consider the strange events of Matthew 17:1-13, and how this glimpse of the glory of Jesus helps us prepare for Lent and the journey to the cross. Mike Keggie helps us see how glory and suffering can be held together for all of us.

Our God is a God who restores. Charlie helps us understand what that means for us.

The God we meet in Jesus lives in us by the Holy Spirit. Which means there's amazing power available to all who follow Jesus. But this doesn't mean life will be easy. Dave leads us in thinking about how the power of God available to us by the Holy Spirit helps us in times of suffering and struggle - and how we can help others in those times too.
