Well, here we are, on episode 248 of Stabby Stabby and about to be thrown out of the movie hole. Today, the boys come to terms with the impending end of the podcast by continuing to watch their favorite movies. This week, Dan picks 2019's horror masterpiece The Lighthouse, sending them on a deranged, wet, slimy decent into madness and farts.

Friends, it's true: Stabby Stabby will be winding down in a few weeks. We have some special surprises for long time listeners before we're done, so stick around! Next week we'll finally be tackling the movie we've mentioned more on this show than any other, and the final (?) episode of Stabby Stabby will be our annual Hugo Awards retrospective for 2025. That episode will be huge, covering not only 2025's outstanding slate of movies, but also looking back on the entire 5-year run of the show.

We made this decision to concentrate our time and efforts on our new project: Greg's Cryptid Corner! If you enjoy hanging out with us, subscribe to that show and join us as we discuss cryptids, folktales, aliens, hauntings, and whatever else Greg decides to teach us. It's the most wonderful time of the year, but we get some bad news in the mole-mail! After Greg had his soul sucked into the body of a porcelain doll, the boys developed a plan to create a cult and siphon money from the gullible mole-people! But one of our mole-cultists sends a letter requesting us to watch The Night God Screamed (1971), so we do what the people want! Along the way, they wrestle with time-lapse photography of real decaying animals, an onslaught of wieners, porno–Wes Anderson–style symmetry, and some very horny snails. Not for the faint of heart—this one dives deep into some seriously heady, disturbing territory. But stick with it, trusted listeners… the weirdness just might be worth the ride.

Hello! You know dolls. The toys, I mean. Yeah, you do. Know who else knows them? Stuart Gordon, it turns out! This week, we watch Stuart Gordon's under-appreciated 1987 killer-toys fairy tale: Dolls. It's got killer teddy bears and evil parents and toy soldiers and punk nip slips and a witch and a man boy and man oh man the hits keep comin' and they don't stop comin' fed to the rules and we hit the ground runnin'. Come for the Gordon but stay for the boys' night time beauty routines. I'm so tired from eating candy this description barely makes sense.
