To gain some insight into 2025 Stacey Norman and J Sbu sat down with renowned psychic Gerald Burger, also known as "Die Siener" (The Seer).

Gerald's predictions for 2025 were nothing short of astonishing. From warning of a potential new COVID strain to forecasting a major improvement in South Africa's electricity situation, his visions left us all eager for more.

What really caught our attention were his personal predictions for Stacey and J Sbu. For Stacey, Gerald foresaw a year of new opportunities, particularly in the realm of education. He also hinted at a mysterious "child" - but was it a literal prediction or a metaphorical one?

As for J Sbu, Gerald revealed a private family matter that had been resolved, much to J Sbu's relief. He also cautioned J Sbu to take care of his health, particularly his lungs.

Stacey Norman and J Sbu spoke with KwaZulu-Natal Cogta Spokesperson Senzo Mzila to get the down low on the inclement weather in the province.

Mr Mzila noted a number of road incidents and added that KZN Cogta teams are on the ground monitoring the situation.

"The important thing is to stay up to date by listening to shows such as yours," he said.

He explained the severity of receiving a level 8 weather warning and noted that information is power. It's important to research your area and weather before you travel.

Stacey Norman visited Salt Slab, a new barbecue spot in the Midlands.

Owner and pitmaster Mike, a barbecue aficionado with 18 years of experience, had brought authentic Texas-style barbecue to KZN. With its mouthwatering smoked meats and picturesque setting, Salt Slab was a must-visit destination for foodies.

It's Time to Jingle and Mingle at Umhlanga's Mega Festive Market!

The Umhlanga Festive Market is getting ready to open to the public – and it's going to be a weekend to remember.

The festive market is hosted by the Umhlanga Residents and Ratepayers Association (URRA), a non-profit organisation dedicated to making Umhlanga an amazing place to live, work, and play.

From Friday, 13 December to Sunday, 15 December, the Umhlanga Spare Centre will transform into a winter wonderland, featuring more than 110 vendors selling everything from unique gifts to delicious treats.

That's not all, though. This festive market will also include a milkshake festival for the kids (and let's be honest, the young at heart), and cheese and wine tastings for the grown-ups.

In addition, there will be Christmas carols and performances by local musicians and dancers.

Throughout the weekend, visitors will have the chance to participate in exciting lucky draws, with prizes donated by local businesses, restaurants and hotels. This is a fantastic opportunity to win incredible gifts just in time for Christmas.

It's the most wonderful time of the year, which means Christmas music is officially taking over our airwaves.

Two of the biggest names in the holiday music game are Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé. So, who deserves the coveted Christmas music crown?

Mariah Carey, the Songbird Supreme, has been a Christmas staple since she released her iconic hit 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' in 1994.

This modern classic has become synonymous with the holiday season, and its catchy melody and upbeat tempo make it impossible to get out of your head.

On the other hand, Michael Bublé has been spreading holiday cheer with his smooth, velvety voice and classic sound. His Christmas album, released in 2011, features timeless tracks like 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas' and 'Jingle Bells'.

According to our resident expert, Jackie Deeble, East Coast Radio’s Music Manager, Mariah takes the crown – hands down.

“Mariah is the Christmas Queen. Every year she hits the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Just last week, ‘All I Want for Christmas’ took the 11th spot on the World Charts,” he said.

In fact, Jackie says Mariah took the crown from Boney M in 1994.

“When she does her yearly defrosting videos, EVERYONE knows,” he concluded.

East Coast Radio Sports Lead, Nick Tatham, recently revealed his love for something we’re (high key) judging him for – watching videos of people (especially kids) falling. Although Nick is no stranger to injuries as a sports aficionado, we’re not entirely sure how we feel about this…

While he doesn't spend all day, every day watching these videos, Nick does enjoy having a chuckle or two when scrolling through his social media feeds.
