  • The great playing out from the back debate

Playing out from the back was front and centre in Europe this weekend, after errors by Manchester City, Arsenal and RB Leipzig. Musa and Ryan discuss the issues with that philosophy, plus Spurs' devastating first half, Women's Champions League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Tammy Abraham and Griezmann's hair. Finally, they play out on the amazing 'Ball' by Duval Timothy.

Also! Just a few days left to order the Stadio Purple Logo tees at Everpress, so go get 'em.

  • Lukaku, Souness & The North London Derby
After a racially ignorant critique of Moise Kean, and Romelu Lukaku receiving monkey chants, Musa and Ryan discuss what clubs, the media and fans can do to stop this happening in the future. They then move onto the positives of the weekend, such as another brilliant North London Derby, Union Berlin's first Bundesliga win and Athlético Madrid topping La Liga, before playing out with Eddie Kendricks.

  • One In A Million
Virgil van Dijk was finally dribbled past for the first time in forever, but it didn't stop Liverpool beating Arsenal 3-1. Musa and Ryan discuss just how good Liverpool are, as well as disappointing home defeats for Spurs and Manchester United, plus Frank Lampard's first win as Chelsea manager. There's the usual round-up from the highlights around Europe and they play out on an Aaliyah anthem.

There's more food chat, Batman versus Joker and they end with Margie Joseph's 'Knockout', dedicated to Aritz Aduriz after his winner for Athletic against Barcelona.

  • Not Match Fit
In the very first episode of The Stadio Podcast, Musa and Ryan get some much needed minutes under their belts. There's an introduction into the wider plan for Stadio and look back at the opening weekend of the Premier League season with big wins for Manchester United, Liverpool, Brighton, Burnley and Manchester City. As well as the football, there's plenty of Game Of Thrones and Marvel references, following Ryan's extensive summer research and they end with a Rhythm and Sound classic.
