Michael Moore started acting at a young age in his home town of New Orleans, LA. After receiving his B.F.A. in Music Theater from Elon University in 2013, he lived in New York for several years, before his career led him to his chosen home in Germany. Michael has worked at theaters all over the USA and beyond. From regional musical theater to theme parks to dance companies (Lightwire Theater), Michael has enjoyed many opportunities to expand his artistic horizons. After joining the European touring casts of Hair (Woof), Saturday Night Fever (Monty), and Daddy Cool, Michael landed his dream job when he spent a year playing the role of Ledoux in the German speaking premier of Bat Out of Hell. While his performing career has continued (Die Päpstin, Hammeln, Jesus Christ Superstar, Salzburg) Michael is finding more and more opportunities to create and produce content, especially with his wife Nadine. This includes publishing his first official writing credit to Spotify this year (This is Halloween Night) and producing YouTube content (Channel: Nadine Kühn) with fellow collaborators. His most recent concert is currently streaming at Katielli.de through December 26th in conjunction with Katielli Theater.

Hoskins sits down with Cassidy Burke to hear about her life and her new book, You are You. Cassidy speaks a lot about her knowledge about mental health and how to handle situations with loved ones who may be struggling. Cassidy also speaks about leadership in her job now and with her time as a collegiate volleyball player. She also shares stories of traveling for a semester at sea and various mission trips.


You are You is a book written for parents to have the platform to ask their kids tough questions. The more we talk about suicide the less power it has.


Cassidy Burke is a 29 year-old author from Littleton, Colorado that has a heart to
encourage others and meet them exactly where they are. She has two Bachelors’
degrees, one in Business Administration and one in Accounting. She also earned
two Masters degrees in Business Administration and one in Leadership from
Colorado Christian University. Cassidy co-founded a non-profit volleyball club in
college while playing and captaining her team to the first ever NCAA volleyball
tournament appearance. She has lead six mission trips to locations as far as
Vanuatu to Costa Rica. After college, Cassidy studied abroad through Semester at
Sea where she learned that life and people are our best teachers. She came home
and has worked in the financial world and college athletics simultaneously.
Cassidy is a leader, a coach, a mentor, and a light to everyone.

Hoskins talks to Kodi Jackman - She is an actor, director, and minored in Homeland Security. So we talk about a WIDE RANGE of topics. From Shakespeare to September 11th, and plenty in between. Kodi talks about acting in the age of COVID and tells her story about going on a recent audition. Kodi Jackman spent two seasons with the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival before moving to England to spend three years training at the Guildford School of Acting. Since being back in Los Angeles, she has worked at Shakespeare Orange County, Sierra Madre Playhouse, and Shakes on the Deck to name a few. She is currently in pre-production for a podcast called Shake It Up which will explore Shakespeare, conscious casting, and cocktails. Also she loves pugs.

Taylor Bradley is a writer, artist, and entrepreneur. She has published two collections of work and just finished her first full-length novel; a memoir about her life on the road searching for somewhere that feels like home. She ran a non-profit, 48 Hours Theatre, for five years but is currently on hiatus to focus on writing. Taylor has written six plays that have been produced in LA, five short-films, and co-wrote two seasons of a web series. She has been building a portfolio of self-portraits that will be featured in her latest book, "There's No Place Like House." The collection was featured in The Wall Gallery Venice in March. She works large scale film and literary events from Hollywood (Academy Awards, AACTAs, PGAs, etc.) to New Orleans (The Tennessee Williams Literary Festival), and hopes one day to work The Cannes Film Festival. In her spare time, she enjoys painting famous literary figures and Americana advertisements. Prints are available on her website

Hoskins and Long talk to Dr.Jimmy Chrismon! They speak a lot about theatre education and the life and duties of a good teacher. Dr. Jimmy Chrismon is a theatre educator with 17 years of experience in the public schools of North and South Carolina. He was adjunct theatre faculty member at Winthrop University and Central Piedmont Community College. He has acted, directed, designed, and produced professionally for 22 years. He received his BA in Theatre Education from UNC Charlotte where he was a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. He received his MEd in Theatre Education from UNC Greensboro and his EdD in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University. He lives in Bloomington, IL and is the host of the THEDTalks Podcast for theatre educators.
