Michael Fish is nowhere to be seen but it's bucketing down at StageDoorCast Central and Cliff is preparing to be Father of the Bride in real life!  Richard revisits Falsettos with his original cast and passes on their comments. He also gives us his impression of "Big the Musical" at the Big Dominion and we talk about lots of new shows including Soho Cinders, the return once again of Joseph to the Palladium in 2020, White Christmas and Cliff's obsession with the film, Identical the Musical, a performace of Cinderella coming up at Cadogan Hall, The Devil Wears Prada coming next year and Jenna Russell as Edith Piaf in Nottingham. We also have a cultural discussion and touch on the return of the Battersea Barge next month. And Cliff recommends "Judy" in the Cinema as a must see and we explain why!

It's a huge News and Reviews show today and again rambling is kept to a minimum. Richard reviews Preludes and Falsettos, and Cliff talks about the live screening of Fleabag this week. After some sad news about early show closures in the last few episodes at last there is some good news on that score. There is a stack of news this week from new shows, suggested shows and lots of casting news. And our number one fan Elaine gives us a one word review of Peter Gynt at the National Theatre, which has got us thinking. Send in your one word reviews and we will read them out. It's hot in the studio as we look at lots of news from the last two weeks including the development of a new show about legendary Magician Harry Houdini, ticket sales at the Fringe and we embroil ourselves in a debate about "correct casting"

We preview new shows from Richard Shelton, add some Strictly Sparkle with casting news about Joe Sugg, and look forward to "Gentleman Prefer Blondes" Richard tells us about a couple of Edinburgh shows that might make it down to London and we tell you how to join in with a Flashmob at the Tower of London with the musical "Six".  We look forward to Proms in the Park on 14th September and preview our first US visit later this year and ask for your suggestions about what to book on Broadway.
